What is Carelink?
Carelink provides users with a direct link to help at the push of a button.
The button can be worn as a pendant or on your wrist like a watch. It works through a special link attached to your phone, which connects to bpha’s Carelink Control Centre when the button is pushed.
What happens if I press a button?
When you press the button, a trained operator at the Carelink Control Centre answers and you can speak directly to them.
They can then contact your friends, family, a doctor, or ambulance if you need help. If you press the button but cannot speak, they can then start to trace the call to find you and help you as quickly as possible.
We also record all alarm calls to make sure that we do not misunderstand your request for help.
It is free to install the unit and it can be done quite quickly. All you need is a telephone connection and a three-pin power socket near it.
If you don’t have a family member or a friend who can come to help you, you can always register to make use of the Mobile Warden Service, who can come and help you in an emergency.
If you would like us to come and demonstrate the system in your home free of charge and with no obligation to take up the service, please contact us on 01234 716 420.
The Carelink service can also supply you with a key safe, which holds your keys in a secure way. It allows a mobile warden and other professionals to access your property if needed.
The key safe can hold more than one key and the service is available 24 hours, every day of the year.
