Case studies 

bpha has developed a strong reputation for adding value to new housing developments.  It does so through building key community infrastructure that help create sustainable communities.

  • Working in partnership with Gallagher Estates at Wixams, a strategic new settlement in Bedfordshire, we are building a small shop to service the community before the main retail provision is developed
  • At our residential care home in Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire we have almost finished building health care facilities and a cottage hospital
  • In Shelford, Cambridgeshire, the existing library was well used and had decayed beyond viable repair, so we have built a new rural library
  • In Mawsley Village in Northamptonshire, we have facilitated a GP’s surgery through an agreement with Kettering Borough Council.  The council agreed to allow bpha to lease one of the affordable homes to a GP practice so that a temporary surgery could be set up while a permanent facility was being developed.
