Eviction

If a court decides to give us possession of your property, you could face eviction.

Before we contact the court, we will send you a notice that tells you why we want to take possession of your home. This is usually in the form of a Notice of Seeking Possession. If you receive one of these Notices, we strongly suggest you get independent legal advice.

You will be given an opportunity to fix the problem that is the reason we are asking to gain possession of your home, and we strongly advise you to contact us to tell us what you intend to do.

If you do not fix the problem and the court gives us a date, you will be sent a letter confirming the date on which we require you to leave the property.
