Executive management team 

The Board delegates operational management - the implementation of Board policies and strategy - to bpha's staff, led by the Chief Executive and Management Team.
bpha's Executive Team consists of:






John Cross
Chief Executive

John has been CEO of bpha since 1995. He is responsible for advising the Board on the formulation of policy and the implementation of Board decisions, and also leads bpha's staff and the overall management of the Association. John has a long association with the National Housing Federation Board, and served as Chair of the Board for 3 years. Prior to joining bpha, John worked in the co-operative housing world before joining mainstream housing associations and was previously Chief Executive of Swaythling Housing Society in Hampshire.
 

Paul Gray
Chief Finanical Officer

Paul is a Chartered Accountant and has extensive national and international CFO experience and an excellent track record in growing businesses across a variety of sectors. He has a strong background in corporate finance, with specific interests in fundraising, business planning, commercial contract negotiation, group and international reporting, management and mentoring of staff across departments.

David Keeling 
Chief Operations Officer

David is bpha’s COO leading the Association’s frontline operations funcation, majoring on strategic urban extensions and new settlements, and an extensive partnership providing residential and nursing care homes. He is responsible for Property Services, Housing Management, Retirement Services and Development and Salesand the asset management of bpha’s 17,000 existing homes.

Kate Nelson 
Transformation Director

Kate Nelson joined bpha in November 2007 and having been responsible for the effective and efficient management of corporate services, encompassing IT, HR, communications, marketing, business improvement, facilities management, and health, safety, and environment, has taken on the transformation agenda delivering key change projects across the business.
