If you
need an interpreter BPHA can arrange one for you.
- A bi-lingual member of staff - these are not trained or qualified, just BPHA staff willing to help out. BPHA cannot guarantee that the staff member will be available - it helps if BPHA can have a couple of hours notice. Languages available: Arabic, Bosnian, Croatian, French, Hindi, Punjabi, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Urdu
- A telephone interpreter - BPHA subscribe to Language Line and can access up to 150 languages in under two minutes. Because this service uses a phone, it can be used from your home at no cost to you.
- An agency interpreter - interpreters are trained, qualified and managed by the Milton Keynes Community Language Service. They can come to your home. BPHA will need a couple of days notice to arrange this.
