bpha’s care homes in Northamptonshire have been awarded ‘straight As’ in the latest QAF review by the Government’s Supporting People programme.
Quality Assessment Frameworks are carried out regularly for all Housing Related Support providers that the Supporting People programme funds, and are designed to assess compliance in five key areas:
• Assessment and support planning
• Security, health and safety
• Safeguarding and protection from abuse
• Fair access, diversity and inclusion
• Client involvement and empowerment
bpha’s three care homes in Northamptonshire – Candleford Court, Leeson Court and The Doubles – have all received Level As for each area, which is the highest mark that can be achieved.
Harpreet Chander, Retirement Services Manager for
bpha, said she was delighted with the results:
“At
bpha we are committed to providing the highest standards of care and support for all our residents. It’s great that the hard work and dedication of our teams at these sites is recognised in this way.
“With a growing need for funds in social care and an aging population, this need for high quality care such as that
bpha provides is only going to increase.
“We’re very proud of what we’ve achieved so far and of course, we’re planning to continue to improve.”
