bpha is currently offering a great opportunity for two residents to help make high level decisions on its policies and services by becoming members of its Operations Board.
Both residents will meet with the rest of the Operations Board, which monitors the day-to-day running of bpha and consists of four Executive Directors and six independent members. Membership will give them the chance to speak on behalf of all residents and be a part of making key decisions about how services are developed in future.
John Cross, Chief Executive for bpha said that the opportunity was good for any residents looking to have a greater say in the services that they themselves receive: “The right candidates will need to immerse themselves in bpha’s business, and attend Board meetings as well as conferences and events as required.
“It is a big commitment but it is interesting and rewarding as they will be representing the interests and making a real difference in the lives of all of bpha’s residents, both now and in the future.”
Both residents will receive training and skills that will also help them in their future employment and career prospects. They will also be paid for their time.
bpha is asking for interested candidates to call 0330 100 0272 to request an expression of interest form.
