We quickly obtained planning
consents on all 24 sites provided by English Partnerships, and by
October 2006 we will have completed the 500th new home out of 537.
The Milton Keynes and Peterborough-based CF2 programme has been
built with the WAVE timber panel system, giving significant advantages
in terms of construction cost and speed.
CF2 has produced wider community benefits - housing nearly 200
key workers to date and supporting six Modern Apprenticeships in
construction.
CF2 established bpha as a major developing RSL in Milton Keynes
and resulted in an excellent working relationship with English Partnerships.
We now have a pipeline of a further 1,200 new affordable homes in
the UK's fastest growing city.
