bpha delivers
the HomeBuy role through its intermediate housing arm, Keyhomes
East, which was launched in 2003.
The Government appointed Keyhomes East to act as the zone agent
for the Keyworker Living Programme, with effect from April 2004,
to help key workers looking for affordable housing across Bedfordshire,
Cambridgeshire and west Suffolk.
The HomeBuy programme was launched two years later to offer help
to a broader range of people looking for affordable housing, with
Keyhomes East being appointed to act as the HomeBuy agent in the
existing zone, as well as being asked to take on a similar role
in the new Northamptonshire zone.
