A growing interest in Mawsley School

Pupils from Mawsley School got to show off their green fingers when they unveiled their new garden. The garden is the result of a £1,500 donation from Bedfordshire Pilgrims Housing Association (bpha) to pay for the seeds and tools needed to help bring the project to fruition.

The Earl of Wessex opened extra care scheme in Luton

A bpha extra care scheme in Luton was given the Royal treatment today when it was visited by HRH Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

On Thursday 28th January, the Earl of Wessex officially opened Betty Dodd Court and met the residents. The event was also attended by the Mayor of Luton, Cllr Mohammed Riaz, the Chief Executive of Luton Borough Council, Kevin Crompton, and representatives from bpha and PRP Architects.

bpha wins official recognition for high standard Employment Support service

bpha has been rewarded for helping unemployed housing association residents get back into work.

Its Employment Support scheme has been awarded the Matrix Standard in official recognition of its high quality service. This means that bpha is eligible to bid for future funding for Employment Support from projects that are only open to Matrix accredited organisations.
