Homes and neighbourhoods in the frame at open day
Housing association residents are being
invited to find out more about their landlord’s work
at a fun, open event.
bpha is holding the free event, called
The Big Picture, at the Harpur Suite, Bedford (Pendrill
Park community centre, Papworth Everard/Oakgrove Leisure Centre,
Milton Keynes/Hightown Community and Arts Centre, Luton) on
Saturday, June 7 (Saturday, June 14/Saturday June 21/Saturday,
June 28).
Residents attending the exhibition-style
event will be able to find out more about how bpha manages
homes, supports local neighbourhoods and provide activities
to improve residents’ wellbeing.
They will also be able to get involved and have their say on
a range of issues to help bpha provide services that meet the
needs of all residents.
The event runs from 10am until 3pm and will include entertainment
as well as free refreshments and other giveaways.
Elaine Warwick, resident involvement co-ordinator
at bpha, said: “We
are inviting as many residents as possible to come along to the
open day and find out more about our work.
“By getting involved, residents can
tell us what they want from their homes and neighbourhoods
and we can provide services that better meet their needs. The
open day will be a chance to find out more in a fun and relaxed
environment.”
Any bpha resident wanting to find out more, or who would like transport
to and from the event, can contact Elaine Warwick on 01234
221237 or elainew@bpha.org.uk.
