Red Nose Day Call Centre

bpha has volunteered to receive donation calls for Red Nose Day 2017 on the evening of Friday, March 24.

The call centre team will make their laugh matter and join in with the fundraising themselves, to take calls in response to Red Nose Day activity.

The setup of bpha’s customer service operation in Bedford allows for 50 staff members to volunteer their time on March 24 all in the name of charity.

As the only call centre to be selected in the region (north of London, south of Corby), bpha staff are getting creative with a 1980s fancy dress theme for the evening.

Margaret Dodwell, Operations Director at bpha, said: “We are delighted to be able to support Red Nose Day by taking donation calls in our call centre on March 24 and very proud to be representing the region.

“Dozens of staff have already volunteered to give up their free time on the night and it promises to be a fun atmosphere as we get into the spirit of the evening while supporting such a worthy cause.”

In 2015 over 146 call centres supported Red Nose Day helping to raise cash to give extremely vulnerable and disadvantaged people a helping hand to turn their lives around.

Since 1985, Comic Relief has raised over £1 billion. That money has helped, and is helping, people living incredibly tough lives, both at home in the UK and across the world.
