We have launched our third annual Best Kept Garden Competition to celebrate the fantastic work residents put into their outdoor spaces.

Kim Burrows, bpha Community Development Officer, explains: “We are looking for bpha residents who are proud of whatever green space they have.

“Whether it’s a balcony container or a garden packed with shrubs, flowers or vegetables, this is a great opportunity for them to show off their skills.”

How to enter our Best Kept Garden Competition

Residents can nominate their own garden, or a neighbour’s they admire, under one of these categories:

  • Best General Garden
  • Best Communal Garden
  • Best Community Garden

All residents have to do is complete the Best Gardens Form, tell us in 50 words or less why they have nominated theirs or a neighbours garden, and return the form to bpha Limited, Bedford Heights, Manton Lane, Bedford, MK41 7BJ or email competitions@bpha.org.uk

It is important that all entries include pictures of the nominated garden to allow the judges narrow down to the finalists, who they will then visit before selecting the winner.

The Best Gardens Form can be found here or by emailing Kim Burrows.

The closing date for entries is 30 June and the winners will be notified by 17 July.
