Resident involvement is an important
part of the work we do at bpha and consultation
is one way that our residents can influence decisions about the
services we offer.
Our resident consultation co-ordinator, Elaine Warwick, acts as
an internal adviser to any team or department that intends to carry
out consultation. At bpha we are always
looking for new ways of reaching out to residents to both share
information with them and to ask their opinions about issues that
may affect them, their homes and their local community.
Elaine also manages the residents' panel, which is a database of
residents who are happy to be consulted on a variety of issues.
We are currently expanding the number of residents who want to be
contacted by email. The residents' forum is another of Elaine's
responsibilities and this informal group, which meets quarterly,
looks at new developments at bpha and acts as a
sounding board for residents and community groups.
You can contact Elaine by emailing elainew@bpha.org.uk
or calling her on 01234 221327.
