If you are a leaseholder
Leasehold ownership of a flat is simply a long tenancy, the right to occupation and use of the flat for a long period - the 'term' of the lease. A lease is a contract between the leaseholder and bpha giving conditional ownership for a fixed period of time.

As a bpha leaseholder you have various rights and obligations. There are also various laws to protect leaseholders that will apply to you.

bpha is registered and regulated by the Housing Corporation and also follows guidance issued by the National Housing Federation.
