If you want to move
Tenants who believe their home is not longer suitable can apply to join BPHA's transfer register. All applications are considered on their merits with points awarded for certain situations including:

Housing Transfer Register

  • Overcrowding
  • Length of time on waiting list
  • Medical status
  • Sharing amenities with another household
  • No fixed adobe
  • Living in unsatisfactory housing conditions

If you owe rent you will not be allowed to join the register. BPHA reserves the right to refuse a transfer request if the existing property is in poor condition due to tenant neglect.
