Welfare rights

Welfare benefits advice

bpha employs two full-time welfare rights officers, who are able to offer advice on the whole range of welfare benefits and tax credits to tenants, shared owners and leaseholders. This includes information on entitlement to benefit, and support in cases where a benefit decision is wrong and should be challenged.  If necessary we are able to represent at benefit appeals.

The team is able to see clients for appointments at Pilgrims House, in the community at the Community House in Faldo Road, or at their home in cases where health issues make it difficult to attend our offices.  Telephone advice may also be given.

For more information, please call 01234 221292 or 01234 22287.
