Repairs and maintenancebpha tenants are urged to give access to properties when requested to allow a survey to be completed and identify future replacement work that may need to take place.

A stock condition survey needs to be carried out every five years and allows bpha to plan for future works such as replacement kitchens, bathrooms and windows, so that homes are maintained to the highest possible standard.

Residents will be contacted to advise that the survey needs to take place and usually takes between 45 and 60 minutes. Every effort will be made to accommodate requests for appointments outside of normal working hours but cannot be guaranteed.

If access is refused it could mean that tenants are not included in any further works, such as kitchen and bathroom replacements.

The survey does not cover any repairs items, which need to be reported separately to our customer service team on 0330 100 0272 or online via MyAccount.
