bpha has been recognised as one of this year’s best employers after being awarded two high profile rankings in the prestigious annual Best Companies awards.

As well ranking 70th in The Sunday Times 100 Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For bpha has also been listed as number 22 in the 25 Best Housing Associations to Work For.

The results have been announced by Best Companies, the organisation that works with The Sunday Times to measure employee engagement across UK employers.

This year’s results show that bpha employees are happier than ever after exceeding previous Best Companies scores, achieving 1 Star accreditation and rising from 90th in last year’s Best Not-For-Profit table.

bpha’s 1 Star status recognises the significant achievements the not-for-profit housing association has made in creating an engaging and productive working environment and their commitment to ensuring that employees play a strong role in the development of working practices.

Kevin Bolt, bpha Chief Executive, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to be recognised so positively in this year’s Sunday Times Best Companies lists. We work incredibly hard to ensure that bpha is a fulfilling place to work and are very focused on working with colleagues, gathering their feedback, ideas and experiences and then using that information to make real, tangible changes.”

“We have a group of Best Companies Champions who, alongside their day job, dedicate a huge amount of effort to ensuring that their teams are working well together and sharing any feedback that we could use to improve the way we do things. Our rankings this year are testament to them, and I look forward to working with them to make bpha an even better place to work.”
