UKHA 2017 finalist
We have been shortlisted for the UK Housing Awards 2017 in the Outstanding Innovation of the Year category.
The UK Housing Awards are widely recognised as the leading awards in the sector, and highlights the organisations, individuals and projects that are leading the way in affordable housing.
We have been shortlisted with eight other Housing Associations in the Outstanding Innovation of the Year category (under 20,000 stock), for the work we have been doing around hoarding. Following a successful bid to the Harpur Trust for funding, we have been working with Hoarding UK to set up training for Home Agents dealing with hoarding cases and a support group for hoarders, which helps them to try to improve their situation, lower the risk to other tenants and retain their tenancies.
A record-breaking 414 entries were received in total by the awards organisers and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 26 April, at the Lancaster London Hotel.
