bpha’s Customer Service Centre in St Paul’s Square in Bedford town centre has now permanently closed.
Changes to Bedford’s Housing Allocations Scheme
The Customer Service Centre closed as a result of the management of Bedford’s Housing Allocations Scheme transferring to Bedford Borough Council on 1 April 2018.
The scheme has been administered by bpha on behalf of Bedford Borough Council for a number of years, but it was agreed that its management would be transferred to the Council.
Most of the queries handled by the Customer Service Centre were regarding applications for housing. In light of this, the number of visitors to the centre would significantly reduce, hence our decision to close it.
Housing register queries
All housing register queries are now dealt with by Bedford Borough Council Housing Needs Service.
