bpha’s Customer Service Centre in St Paul’s Square in Bedford town centre, permanently closed in March. The Customer Service Centre closed because the management of Bedford’s Housing Register transferred to Bedford Borough Council on 1 April 2018.
The register had been administered by bpha on behalf of Bedford Borough Council for a number of years, but it was agreed that its management should return to the Council who have responsibility for holding a Housing Register. A large number of the queries at the Customer Service Centre were regarding applications for housing so in light of this, the number of visitors to the centre would have significantly reduced, hence our decision to close it.
Your home will continue to be owned and managed by bpha as your landlord.
All housing register queries are now dealt with by Bedford Borough Council Housing Needs Service.
