bpha is about more than just housing. We deliver and support a diverse range of services including sports and learning activities for both young and older residents; and computer clubs to introduce technology to the over 50s. These initiatives enhance our residents’ quality of life and benefit the wider community.

Our charitable status enables us to seek external funding for community activities that support our aims. Over the last eight years, we have been awarded around £3.5 million in non-traditional grants.

Funders and partnership working

Our Community Development Team actively encourages residents to form community groups and provides fundraising support and advice to assist groups with developing their own community projects.

We welcome partnerships with appropriate organisations who will help us to improve our residents’ quality of life. Working in partnership provides a greater range of skills and opportunities for residents. By applying for external funding bpha can do more for and with the communities it serves.
