bpha has been selected as the affordable housing partner for Crest Nicholson’s exclusive Campbell Wharf development in Milton Keynes.
Close to Campbell Park, and adjacent to the Grand Union Canal, the new Campbell Wharf development will see a total of 383 homes built. The delivery of 115 affordable homes, including shared ownership apartments, means that 30% of the homes in this exciting new development will be affordable housing. The remaining 268 homes will be delivered by Crest Nicholson for open market sale.
Construction at Campbell Wharf is now underway and when complete the development will include hundreds of new homes alongside a new 111 berth marina, canal-side pub, new footbridge and additional local retail facilities.
The first residents are expected to move in from Autumn 2019.
Jeff Astle, Director of Development and Sales at bpha, said: “We are delighted to be working with Crest Nicholson to provide 115 much needed affordable homes at Campbell Wharf. This builds on our track record of delivering affordable homes in Milton Keynes and contributes to our strategy to increase affordable housing provision across the Oxford to Cambridge Growth Corridor. Crest Nicholson has a fantastic reputation in place making and Campbell Wharf will, I am sure, be a development we will all be proud of, with a good proportion of affordable homes.”
Peter Cusdin, Development Director at Crest Nicholson said: “We are extremely pleased to have appointed bpha as the affordable housing provider for Campbell Wharf and look forward to working with them to deliver affordable housing in this exciting development. This agreement will provide local people with high-quality homes they can afford and encourage the growth of stronger communities.”
