Our 500th new home this financial year!

A happy start to the year for the Stewart family

A Milton Keynes family are looking forward to spending 2020 in their new home after receiving the keys to the 500th new property that bpha has completed in this financial year.

Yvonne Stewart and her three sons moved into their three-bedroom home in Hanslope Fields in November, having lived in a bungalow for the past 18 years.

“We were over the moon when we found out because this house is bigger and more affordable,” said Yvonne, who also has a daughter away at university. “Being in a bungalow felt like we were living right on top of each other.

“The kids absolutely love having more space. We are looking forward to making lots of new memories here.”

Building for the future

bpha has 50 homes on the 150-home Bloor Homes development including 1 and 2-bedroom apartments and family 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses available for rent or to purchase under shared ownership.

Jeff Astle, Executive Director of Development and Sales at bpha, said: “We are delighted that Yvonne and her family have been able to move into one of our new homes in Hanslope Fields. We hope they will be very happy living there. It’s a fantastic achievement for us to have handed over our 500th home since the beginning of April and we will continue working hard to deliver more homes in 2020 and beyond to help tackle the housing crisis.”
