bpha maintain financial performance in half-year report
bpha today (28 November 2024) released its half year financial report for the six months ended September 2024.
The report shows our key financial information halfway through the financial year and how we have continued to plan carefully in the face of continuing market pressure.
CFO, Julian Pearce said:
‘We are pleased to report a good first half performance for the six months ended 30 September 2024. Although the economic environment remains uncertain, and the recent Government budget will result in significant additional National Insurance costs, we will continue to manage our finances carefully and focus on delivering higher quality services and value to customers. We will also continue to listen to, and work with, our customers to make sure we invest in the areas most important to them.’

Highlights included:
Guided by our vision of ‘Quality homes. Connected communities’ our progress has included:
- Further growth of our inhouse maintenance team, maintaining high post-repair customer satisfaction of 93%
- Working with our partners to develop a regeneration plan for the Greyfriars area of Bedford
- We continued to innovate in our approach to sustainability, increasing energy efficiency, with 90% of homes achieving EPC level C or above
- We also took a significant step forward in customers influencing our decisions and priorities by establishing a diverse customer-based Service Improvement Panel.
