Florence Court is an Independent Living with Care scheme, located on the outskirts of Trowbridge, the popular county town of Wiltshire. It has the benefits of being just outside the bustle of the town but with a bus route just outside for access to Bath and the surrounding area. The train station is half a mile away, with links to London and the West Country and there is a supermarket, newsagent and Post Office a short walk away.

The ground floor two-bedroom flats have access to a patio from the living room, while those on the upper floors have a Juliet balcony door. The spacious grounds feature landscaped gardens, lawn areas, plus paved areas with seating.

Florence Court has various social events which gives it a homely and sociable feel to life there. Regular activities are organised by the residents, including quizzes, coffee mornings and variety of clubs.

Care at this scheme is provided by an organisation selected by the local authority. Carers provide tailored support for each customer, depending on their needs, and are not at the scheme full time. All customers are provided with a pendant and a pull cord in their home, which links to a 24/7 specialist alarm monitoring service.
