Can you help with building safety?
Following on from the tragedy at Grenfell in June 2017, Legislation has been put in place to ensure that all residents in high rise blocks are able to get involved with decision making regarding their building’s safety. Along with access to key safety information and clear complaints procedure to be able raise any building safety concerns.
To help us do this we are setting up a Building Safety Group, which will consist of residents helping to ensure that legislation is followed. And equip you with the skills and knowledge to challenge and influence building safety policies and practices.
You will help us produce the building safety resident engagement plan and will also get involved in engagement initiatives for building safety out in your community.
If you have less time to spare and would still like to be involved, you can join your online resident community – The Place where you can share your views and provide feedback on the services we offer. There is an area dedicated to Building safety, please register at https://theplace.bpha.org.uk/
If would like to get involved to help shape building safety for your block and the people that live there, please email CustomerVoice@bpha.org.uk for more information
