Caretakers cleaning schedule

Schedule of works to be completed by our Caretakers in our high-rise blocks in Bedford

• The foyer/lift (and laundry if present) in your block will be cleaned everyday
• Stairways and landing swept every week and moped once a fortnight
• Handrails, windowsills and skirting boards cleaned fortnightly
• Rubbish chutes cleaned and disinfected weekly
• Switches/sockets and internal paintwork wiped down fortnightly
• Entrance doors front and rear of building cleaned/wiped down monthly
• Main entrance fixed mat wells cleaned out quarterly
• Cobwebs removed as and when seen
• Litter removed from entrance halls, stairways, landings and front of buildings daily
• Floors stripped and re-polished annually
• Repairs in communal areas reported as and when noticed
• Dumped rubbish/abandoned cars and graffiti reported daily.

Bin Areas

• Swept/mopped on a weekly basis
• Rubbish on the floor bagged and disposed of.
