bpha Respond
bpha Respond is an immediate response alarm service, so you can feel confident that help is on hand should you need it. If you live in a bpha Independent Living scheme in Bedford, you will automatically receive the bpha Respond service.
How it works
If you have a medical emergency or need assistance, press the button on your bpha Respond pendant and you’ll be connected to a trained operator. Our operators are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Depending on the service you choose, they may contact a nominated family member or friend, send an Independent Living Housing Responder to your home, or call out the emergency services.
The set-up
The bpha Respond alarm is connected to your telephone line. A base unit plugs into your wall socket, with your telephone line plugged into the back of the alarm. Installation is included with the service: our team will set it up for you, and show you how to move the alarm, should you need to.
