A good bpha performance for the year 2023-2024

12 August 2024

bpha has released its Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year April 2023 until March 2024. This shows how we performed over those 12 months.

Despite another year of external challenges, including rising interest rates, we are pleased to report a good overall performance and an ongoing strong financial position. We continued to deliver and improve on our services and keep customers safe and comfortable in decent homes. This included improving the ways that we listen to customers and supporting those who needed it most.

Our highlights included:

  • Providing 267 additional homes for local people, which means 19,987 homes are now owned or managed by bpha
  • Investing £39m in maintaining and improving existing homes
  • Investing £60m in new homes
  • G1 and V1 – the highest governance and financial viability ratings from the housing regulator
  • 89% of our homes are now in at least energy Band C, part of our commitment to ensure our homes are fit for the future and efficient to run for customers.

We are in a strong position to deliver our corporate strategy and to continue investing in existing homes and providing more affordable homes. We will achieve this through focusing on our four strategic commitments:

  • We will deliver quality and value to customers
  • We will help make places and build local communities
  • We will create a sustainable future
  • We will put people at the heart of bpha.
