bpha has published its Financial Statements for 2025/26, highlighting some real progress in improving services and investing in homes.
The highlights include:
During the year, customer satisfaction improvements included positive increases in ratings for repairs. bpha continued to strengthen its in-house maintenance service, making repairs more reliable and improving communication with customers. New digital options and an enhanced customer contact service have also made it easier for customers to get in touch and manage their homes, with more than 10,000 customers now registered on the online portal. The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) recognised our customer-focus and ongoing commitment to improve services by awarding bpha a C1 consumer rating.
Investment in homes has remained a priority. Almost all homes (97%) now have an up-to-date stock condition survey, and 92% meet EPC Band C or above, improving energy efficiency and helping customers reduce energy costs. Regeneration work in Bedford is also continuing to improve neighbourhoods and building safety.
The organisation has continued to grow, delivering 444 new homes and agreeing the transfer of more than 1,200 homes, expanding its ability to provide affordable housing and to work with customers in providing good services.
Richard Hill, Chief Executive at bpha, said:
“We have made good progress this year, particularly in improving areas of customer satisfaction and strengthening our services. Our focus remains on listening to customers, acting on their feedback, and delivering consistently high‑quality services. We will build on the progress made, while particularly focusing on the areas our customers say we need to improve”
