'Checktember’ – the best time to check your boiler

2 September 2024

As we step into September, many of us know what that means: shorter days, thicker layers, and colder weather. If you decide to turn your heating on, the last thing you want is to find out it’s not working.

When temperatures drop, our gas, heating, and hot water contractor, TSG, experiences a significant increase in calls about faulty boilers and radiators. This increase in demand can sometimes lead to longer wait times for getting your heating back on track, which is frustrating. But don’t worry, there are proactive steps you can take now to reduce the chances of this happening.

That’s why we’re renaming this month ‘Checktember’ – a time to check your boilers and radiators!

By taking a few simple steps this month, if your heating isn’t working as it should, we can sort it out before the cold weather sets in.
