Homes in Luton and Central Bedfordshire to transfer to bpha

We are delighted to announce the exchange of contracts on the potential transfer of more than 1,200 homes from Clarion Housing Association to bpha.
The homes are in Luton, Bedford and Central Bedfordshire. We hope that the Bedford transfer will complete in March and Luton in May, following a formal consultation with Clarion customers, where we look forward to understanding their priorities.
Quality homes. Connected Communities
New customers would benefit from being served by dedicated bpha teams that already have deep local knowledge and strong neighbourhood partnerships. For existing bpha customers, the new homes would strengthen our local delivery. We would increase resource in our housing and repairs teams to ensure quality of service and decent homes, while welcoming customers to communities where they feel safe, included and valued.
The rights and tenancies of customers transferring to us from Clarion would be unchanged.
We will share an update after the consultation period, during which we will continue to work closely with customers and Clarion.
