We recently invited the mayor of Bedford, Tom Wootton, to view progress at our development in Dennis Road in Kempston which forms part of our programme to regenerate seven underused garage sites across the Borough to create much needed homes for social rent.
Part funded by Homes England the seven sites are being developed in partnership with local contractors BSG and Parrott Construction and will provide 21 new energy efficient, accessible and family homes from 2 bedroom bungalows to four bedroom houses.
The Dennis Road development built by Parrott Construction consists of four two bedroom houses designed to complement the area, with all of them benefiting from air source heat pumps, allocated parking and an EV charging point for each property.
bpha Development and Sales Director Jeff Astle, commented “It’s a great pleasure to be able to invite the mayor, members of Bedford Borough Council, Kempston Town Council and Homes England to see the first hand the progress being made to transform these sites into truly affordable housing, as well as improving the neighbourhoods in which they sit”.
