What does the bpha Allocations Policy mean for you?

5 March 2026

Are you a bpha customer thinking about moving home, or just curious about how we allocate our rental properties? Here’s what you need to know about the bpha Allocations Policy, which you can find here.

To help make sure we manage your tenancy fairly, consistently, and legally, we publish policies on areas such as complaints, repairs and how we allocate housing. They set out our responsibilities, so that you know what to expect from us – and your responsibilities too. Our policies are regularly reviewed and updated based on regulatory changes and/or customer feedback.

Fair and transparent allocations

The Allocations Policy covers how we allocate and let all bpha rental homes. We always aim to be fair and transparent, working in line with local council nomination agreements and the Regulator of Social Housing’s Tenancy Standard. This means everyone gets a fair chance and knows how decisions are made.
