Having damp, mould or condensation in your home can cause various health issues, including making asthma and allergic conditions worse.
Its appearance is common because it’s a living organism that grows when the conditions are right. Kitchens, bathrooms and behind large furniture are the most common places for mould to develop because they are often damp, dark and warm.
If you have noticed condensation, damp and/or mould in your home we’ve created a video guide on what steps to take. You can view that, plus more helpful tips, on our dedicated damp and mould page.
If we’ve investigated mould in your home and have recommended treatment, we’ve also got a quick video to show what happens next. It takes you through how the treatment works and what you can expect when we visit your home.
Treating mould effectively can require three separate treatments. If that’s the case for your home, it’s important that all three are carried out, or the mould may return.
